Thanks for your kind words Jim. I think back to my days in Can Tho and find it hard to believe it has been 32 years ago. It was an experience I will never forget. I am sorry that the U.S. involvement ended so unsatisfactorily; the guys that died and who are disabled deserved better. I not sorry about being there. I apologize to no one for the Vietnam war. I feel what I did as a U.S. serviceman was right. Unfortunately, as you know, the Vietnamese on our side left a lot to be desired both in government and in uniform. I still feel an unquenched thirst over the war. And to this day, I refuse to call the capital anything other than Saigon. Fuck Ho Chi Minh City.
