In the early morning hours of June 1, 1970, the airfield came under mortor attack. I was hurt and was taken to the dispensory for treatment. I have a copy of my medical record indicating I was sent for treatment for injury to R ankle dated 1 june 70. However, my record does not indicate the time nor the reason for the treatment. The treatment I received was right there at the dispensory. My question, did the dispensory kept a daliy log sheet. If so would it indicate the morter attack and incoming wounded from this attack? Im seeking compensation. I have been told the records I have are not a clear enough has to the time and reason I was treated. Any and all help would be welcome. Lloyd Newell, 345th A.D.D.
