I was there at Can Tho and at Binh Thuy, for the microwave shot, 1880th Comm Sqdn at Binh Thuy. I arrived October '67 and left Oct '68. TSgt Thomas was my supervisor at first, then SSgt Nasakaitis, later. Both were good men, as I was only a young ignoramus, they looked after me. I kept a police dog (German shepherd), he showed up one day. We used to walk along the dike along across from the VC POW camp. One day "Cho' my dog and I walked over through the east perimeter. Luckly, i saw the mortar round wired to trip as a boobt trap on the fence. It was easy to walk off the base. Antony Anson Barnes
