You can have the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) represent you when you go up against the DVA (Dept of Veterans Affairs). I used the DAV during my appeal process. They effectively get on the VA's ass and don't take any double-talk or crap. They become a pain to the VA. They have lawyers who will represent you....not cost to you. Use the Disabled American Veterans if you are getting nowhere with the VA. The DAV has a Web-site.
