That would be the 5th TAC's TRC-97 microwave radio site. That particular radio link was to Rach Gia on the Gulf of Thailand coast. I was an Air Force Sergeant, radio maintenance technician, assigned administratively to the 13th AVN. The generator was an EMU-12 400 hertz turbine power plant that required aviation fuel. The silence was deafening when we got hit with several motor attacks and knocked off the air during Tet '68. I was at Can Tho from November '67 thru May '68. It is good to know that someone noticed we were there. GP
